The search
What the Fare Search Does
The front page carries one search and no other page carries any. This is the unhurried account of it. The search itself belongs to a booking company, and this office is not that company.
Whose search it is
A booking company's. It sits on a subdomain of this address, and the button moves a traveler across to it. Past that point the reading of the rules is theirs: their terms apply, their notice about data applies, and the ones written here stop.
What follows a search happens entirely on their side. A seat, a ticket, a payment, a change, a refund: My Domaine Travel LLC arranges none of them here, receives no traveler money for any of them, and could not alter one if asked. There is no card field on any page of this site, and never has been.
What goes across with a traveler
The contents of the six fields, and nothing that was not typed into them.
- Both ends
- Airport codes, and only ones taken from the list the field puts up
- The two dates
- The day out, and the day home when there is one
- Cabin
- Economy or business
- Who is flying
- Adults, children with their own seat, infants riding on a lap
- Everything else
- Does not travel, because this site holds nothing else to send
Nobody is counted here and no reading is remembered, so there is nothing further that could go. The form on this site that asks for a price and the search on this site are wired to nothing in common; neither can see what the other was given.
Eight things it will not accept
Yesterday, or any day before today. Fares run forward only.
Anything further ahead than eleven months, because what crosses is a day and a month with the year left off, and past that window the wrong year comes back quietly. Saying no is more honest than guessing.
A place that was typed but never picked, so that a genuine code crosses rather than a spelling.
Two ends that turn out to be one airport. A homeward date standing earlier than the outbound one. A homeward date past the same eleven months. Ten or more people in seats. An infant on a lap with nobody seated to hold it.
Each refusal is written under the button in ordinary words, on the front page, before anything is sent anywhere.
What this office earns from it
If a booking follows, the company running the search may pay My Domaine Travel LLC out of the margin it already keeps. A traveler is quoted the same figure either way, and there is no version of the search that shows a different one. That is the whole of it, and it has nothing to do with how the office is paid for arranging a trip, which prices sets out at length.
Four things nobody should read into it
It is not a claim that these fares are the lowest to be had. That is unknowable and this office does not pretend to check.
It is not every airline and it is not every agency. No search of this kind is.
It is not an endorsement of a carrier. Not one is named anywhere on this site.
It is not a booking made by this office. A traveler who books through it has bought from the company on the other side of the button.
